| When the going gets tough... |
I'm not one for retail therapy, but I did buy something this week: a new set of flatware. I have long wanted something a little nicer than the mismatched set we've been using for years -- warning, kids! If you opt to run off to City Hall and get married, you don't get to select place settings! -- and this set was surprisingly inexpensive (about $100). It's simple, but has a good heft to it, and comes with some nice serving pieces.
I also finally got my clothesline, which is something I've always wanted. My mom put it up for me. It's good clothes-drying weather right now -- sunny and in the 70s. I'm ready to save energy! |

Our flatware is German and it's hard to find matching serving pieces for it.
