| God's refrigerator |

Went to see "I Love You, Man" today. If you saw "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," "Role Models," "The 40 Year Old Virgin" and "Knocked Up," you may as well see this one, too, because it's cut from the same cloth. It's likable and funny, if not bust-a-gut hilarious.
I wish there were more good comedies starring women. I'm always turned off by the previews for chick-centered films like "Shopaholic" and "New In Town" because they seem to emphasize pratfalls -- look, it's a pretty girl falling down or banging into something! She's pretty, but she sure is clumsy! Ha ha! Anyway, for whatever it's worth, the best comedies these days seem to have some involvement by Judd Apatow and/or Paul Rudd. Apatow was not involved with "I Love You, Man," but it feels Apatowian.
Submitted our '08 tax stuff to our accountant today. That's a load off my mind. |

When was this photo taken?
I pass by this sign every day on my walk to work. I wish I had snapped a picture the last time I saw it, because I swear, the word "refrigerator" was originally spelled "refridgerator." I would like to think there was a little divine intervention on behalf of the English language!

That's a lot less scary than IF GOD HAD A MILK CARTON YOUR PICTURE WOULD BE ON IT.

The photo was taken this afternoon, on the way home from "I Love You, Man."

By the way, I wonder what's in God's refrigerator.
