It's extremely rare that they don't devolve into pissing matches among idiots who can barely spell...and usually, more comments end up being posted than any reasonable person is going to read, much of which (therefore) repeats what's been said before. They're simply too easy to use. I suppose the argument is all democratic, contributing to the discourse, yadda yadda...but if someone's contribution to the discourse is calling everyone who disagrees "commie faggot," uh, is that really any contribution at all?
