Fixing stuff |
Catching up on a couple of things: first of all, the car. The folks at the Toyota dealership replaced our car's computer, and Joe picked the car up on Tuesday night. Our final bill: $0! Thank goodness for that ridiculously long warranty on the Prius. (We didn't pay for an extended warranty -- this is the regular warranty, 8 years/100,000 miles on the hybrid system.) So our record still stands -- six and a half years without having to pay for anything other than routine maintenance. I'm a Toyota fan for life. Since the car only has 55,000 miles on it, I'm hoping we can keep it for at least another 4-5 years -- by then, maybe we'll be able to buy a plug-in hybrid that gets 100 miles per gallon.
I haven't mentioned my shoulder in a while, but it's been an ongoing problem. I saw my doctor yesterday and she referred me to an orthopedic surgeon, whom I'm seeing next Tuesday. On the up side, my cholesterol levels are fantastic! |
